i don’t really know if 2011 was a good year or a bad year. such a mix of emotions when i look back at it.  all i know is that today, i am happy, i am blessed, and i am so thankful for new beginnings.

i have rooms in my heart that i don’t go into anymore. i keep the doors locked up tight, because of what’s inside.  you’re there, on the other side, and i can’t face the memory of you. but i can’t let you go either. i haven’t figured out how to deal with it all. so for now, i’ll pace the halls of my heart until i get the courage to open the doors.
